Satellite Navigation

Satellite navigation is fast becoming like mobile phones where you wonder how you ever managed without it.

There are several ways of having satellite navigation depending on your car and budget.

Transferable

Portable satellite navigation systems.

smartnavSmartnav
This is simple non screen based system. You press a button and speak to a real person. You tell them where you are going and they do all the hard work for you. They find your destination, they tell you your estimated journey time and check any traffic problems for you. The information is then downloaded to your car and you then drive with voice directions as with any other satellite navigation system.
There is an option to have a simple touch screen.

In dash systems
These replace your factory fitted stereo. This is removed and a replacement radio/CD with built in navigation is fitted. The screen is small and only gives graphics not a full blown map. Not suitable for all cars.

Full mapping systems

On dash systems
Where it is not possible to remove your factory fitted radio we can fit a separate screen. This is usually mounted on a bracket specifically made for each car but can in some cases be built in to appear factory fit depending on the car!
The navigation is a full mapping system on DVD format so covers all of Europe. Traffic information is also available.

In dash motorised screens
These screens fold away out of site into the radio itself for security. You can also add to this screen and the on dash ones multi media options eg DVD, PS2, TV.
The screens come with touch screen options and use the same navigation box as the on dash screens
